Bryansk "Termotron-Zavod" has automated the production of key components for railway transport and the metro. This will reduce imports in the segment from 30 to 20% and increase its own production.
The company has moved to an expanded production of point machines and choke transformers — key elements of signaling, centralization and blocking systems responsible for the safety of train traffic.
Thanks to modernization, the company will increase the production of modern types of point machines by almost a third — up to 3,200 units per year. The production of choke transformers will double and reach 600 units annually. This will reduce the share of imports in the Russian market segment from 30 to 20%.
"Termotron-Zavod" is the only Russian manufacturer of point machines for high-speed traffic. The equipment ensures the operation of Sapsan trains and is supplied to the subways of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan and Russian Railways. Some of the products are exported to the CIS countries and Mongolia. Localization is 100%, only domestic materials are used.
The volume of investments in the modernization of Bryansk production amounted to 177 million rubles. Of these, 116 million were provided by the Industrial Development Fund under the preferential program "Component Products".
