The Kalashnikov Concern has completed the annual contract for the production of 7.62×54 mm Chukavin sniper rifles (SVCh) and has handed over the entire batch to the main customer. The company notes that the portfolio of state and export orders for 2026 provides for a multiple increase in the production of these rifles.
The SVCh is designed to engage enemy personnel and unarmored vehicles at distances up to 1000 meters.
The rifle was created taking into account modern ergonomic requirements: it is equipped with a shock-resistant polymer grip, adjustable trigger pull, and a unified Picatinny rail for installing a wide range of optical and electronic sights. The weight of the product without a magazine is 4.8 kg. The total length with the stock unfolded and a flash suppressor is 1170 mm, the barrel length is 620 mm.
It is also noted that Lobaev Arms officiallyconfirmed the combat power of its new SVL-5 "Devastator" sniper rifle and increased the production of weapons.
Earlierwww1.ru reported thatthe compact DVL-10 M2 "Urbana" sniper rifle has expanded the capabilities of snipers in urban environments.
