A tender has been announced in the village of Tura, Krasnoyarsk Territory, for the overhaul of the "Gorny" airfield for 1.8 billion rubles. The work includes a complete renovation of the runway, taxiways, apron and parking lot for aircraft, the customer's press service reported.
The contractor will also have to carry out planning work on the airfield. The contract runs until December 15, 2027, which will bring the airfield to a modern state and improve flight safety in the Far North.
Earlier, tenders were announced in the Krasnoyarsk Territory for the overhaul of the "Podkamennaya Tunguska" and "Turukhansk" airfields. The cost of these projects amounted to 1.1 billion rubles and 987.2 million rubles, respectively.
The modernization of airfields in the Far North plays a key role in ensuring the transport accessibility of remote areas, flight safety and support for vital supplies. Modern runways will allow receiving heavier and newer types of aircraft, improving logistics for residents and enterprises of the region.
