Cryptocurrencies can become one of the tools to move away from global dollar dependence. This was stated by the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, at a meeting dedicated to the results of the Belarusian NPP, the growth of electricity consumption and plans for the construction of new nuclear facilities.
The head of state stressed that he expects a detailed report on the measures implemented to increase electricity consumption and proposals for the further development of the energy sector and related industries. Among the possible directions, he singled out cryptocurrency mining, the development of electric transport and the construction of housing with electric heating.
Cryptocurrency is one of the options for moving away from dependence on one currency - the dollar. This process will increase. There will be volatility, but don't be afraid of wolves - don't go into the forest.
According to Lukashenko, the analytical notes presented to him note the instability of cryptocurrency mining. However, the president said that this should not stop the country in the context of the global desire to move away from the dominance of the dollar in world markets.
