Белорусский седан Belgee S50 стал дефицитом в российских автосалонах

Demand for the new Belarusian car plant model significantly exceeds supply

Russian car dealerships have faced a sharp shortage of Belgee S50 sedans. According to "Chinese Automobiles", in some cities, the cars are completely out of stock, and dealers sell them mainly on order with a waiting period of up to two weeks.

The reason for the shortage is obvious: demand for the S50 significantly exceeds the production capacity of the Belarusian car plant "BelGee". According to "Autostat Info", 1171 S50 sedans were sold in Russia in October, which is five times less than the sales of X70 crossovers and four times less than the X50. Just a month ago, the model only appeared on the Russian market, and now it has become a rarity, and buying a car "live" on the principle of "came - saw - drove away" is akin to luck.

Dealers note that the most popular are the mid-range Style (2,089,990 rubles) and the top-end Prestige (2,269,990 rubles). The starting version Active (from 1.849 million rubles on "mechanics") is also available, but is quickly snapped up. In some showrooms, for example in Moscow and St. Petersburg, there may be only one car in stock, new deliveries are expected.

At the same time, dealers deny rumors about imposing additional options. Standard "extras" - rubber mats, crankcase protection, radiator grill, anti-corrosion - are offered free of charge or at a discount, and everything is agreed with the buyer. In some cases, you can get gifts, such as a set of winter tires.

Some car dealerships still have a limited number of cars. In Nizhny Novgorod, one of the dealerships has six S50 sedans in different trim levels and colors. Prices range from 2.08 million rubles, taking into account Trade-In and cash payments. In Chelyabinsk, it was also possible to find cars, and with the possibility of a significant discount when handing over an old car or applying for a loan.
