About half of the components were produced less than a year ago

Hundreds of microchips manufactured in the Netherlands have been discovered in the wreckage of Russian missiles and drones, according to local publication RTL Nieuws.

In total, journalists from the publication analyzed approximately five thousand electronic components found in the wreckage of Russian drones, missiles, and other weapons systems.

According to the source, 379 microchips were from the Netherlands, accounting for 7.3% of all elements found.

Without these components, the weapon cannot fly, aim, or strike.

Of the nearly 300 components for which the production date could be determined, 44% were produced after the beginning of February 2022, and some were produced less than a year ago.
