The nuclear submarine "Khabarovsk" was rolled out of the boathouse at the shipbuilding enterprise JSC "PO "Sevmash" in Severodvinsk. The event was held under the leadership of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Andrei Belousov.
The "Khabarovsk" nuclear submarine, designed by JSC "CDB ME "Rubin", is intended for solving strategic tasks of the Russian fleet using modern underwater weapons (robotic systems for various purposes).
Today is a landmark event for us - the heavy nuclear missile cruiser "Khabarovsk" is being launched from the slipway of the famous "Sevmash".
The "Khabarovsk" nuclear cruiser will ensure the security of the country's maritime borders and protect Russia's national interests in the world ocean.
"Khabarovsk" — Russian special-purpose nuclear submarine, the only ship of project 09851. The submarine is being built as a carrier of the "Poseidon" weapon system.
