As part of the development of the «People's BOLT» project, the company «Mechanics», acting as a partner of MSITC, has developed a prototype of a light pickup truck. The working title of the project is «Cheburan».
The prototype is based on the component base of VAZ-2108 family cars.
The car, designed to be an affordable and reliable assistant for a wide range of consumers, is characterized by its simple design and maintainability, making it an ideal choice for rural areas, small businesses and enthusiasts looking for a versatile vehicle.
The «Cheburan» prototype demonstrates the potential for further modernization and adaptation to various needs. Already, «Mechanics» engineers are working on options with increased load capacity, the possibility of installing additional equipment, and even modifications for use in off-road conditions.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the completion of the certification of Il-114 and SJ-100 is planned for the beginning of 2026.
