The new strategy will replace the current 2023 project and adjusts key indicators of the industry: market volumes, drone production, and the share of domestic equipment in the country.

According to the document, the volume of the Russian UAS market in 2023–2026 is estimated at 399–419 thousand units, and by 2035 it will grow to 1.47–1.55 million drones.

At the same time, the production of equipment in 2027–2030 will amount to 93–98 thousand units, and in 2031–2035 it will increase to 240 thousand annually.

By 2030, according to the baseline scenario, the share of Russian drones in the domestic market should reach 70%, and in government orders — 80%. The level of technological independence of the industry is projected at 81%.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade considers the most promising areas of UAS application to be agriculture, logistics and cargo delivery, infrastructure monitoring, and updating geospatial databases.
