From 2026, vehicle inspection prices are expected to rise in some Russian regions. The relevant information was published on the pravo.gov.ru portal.
In the Amur Region, the tariff for inspecting passenger cars will increase from 1806 to 1855 rubles from January 1. In the Jewish Autonomous Region, the cost will rise from 1209 to 1324 rubles, in the Rostov Region — from 1098 to 1203 rubles, in the Chelyabinsk Region — from 1097 to 1201 rubles, and in Mordovia and the Tyumen Region — from 1097 to 1201 rubles and from 1096 to 1200 rubles, respectively. There is no information on the remaining regions yet.
As a reminder, owners of passenger cars are required to undergo vehicle inspection when re-registering cars older than four years and when making structural changes. More than 5.4 million diagnostic cards are issued annually based on the inspection results. The methodology for setting vehicle inspection prices is carried out in accordance with the instructions of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS).
