Missile boat "Zarechny" launched supersonic "Mosquitoes" in the Baltic

The ship of project 12411 "Molniya" successfully hit the targets, and the crew conducted exercises to repel an attack by drones and surface drones

The crew of the missile boat "Zarechny" of project 12411 "Molniya" of the Baltic Fleet performed electronic launches of heavy anti-ship missiles Kh-41 "Mosquito" at sea targets simulating a detachment of ships of a mock enemy. This was reported in the press service of the fleet.

The exercise took place in the waters of the Baltic Sea. As part of the shooting, the boat crews practiced the use of 3M80 "Mosquito" missiles, which develop speeds up to Mach 2.3 and hit targets at a distance of up to 90 km.

The missiles are capable of performing anti-aircraft maneuvers with an overload of up to 10 g, which makes them an extremely difficult target for air defense systems. All mock targets were successfully hit.

In addition to missile launches, the crew of "Zarechny" conducted exercises to repel an attack by drones and surface drones. For this, barrel artillery and electronic warfare systems were used.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the designer spoke about the trick of the new "Tsar Bomb" with a planning module and GPS.
