The new Lada Azimut crossover won the "Best Industrial Design" competition, surpassing its rivals. During the award ceremony, it was announced which domestic company would supply electronic components for AvtoVAZ's new product. It turned out to be "Itelma", known for its long-term cooperation with VAZ.
The company will assemble the instrument cluster, multimedia system, and climate control panel for the Lada Azimut crossover.
For other AvtoVAZ models, "Itelma" is developing electric power steering, ABS and ESC units, sensors, ECUs, and auxiliary electronic modules. It is highly likely that these units in the Lada Azimut will also be from "Itelma".
The Lada Azimut crossover was first shown in June 2025. Its serial production is scheduled for 2026. Currently, VAZ is testing pre-production models of the Lada Azimut. The crossover will soon receive OTTS.
