Access to the Russian social network VKontakte has been restricted in Belarus. The corresponding entry appeared on Friday in the list of restricted access to Internet resources on the website of the State Inspectorate for Telecommunications of the Ministry of Communications of the Republic (BelGIE).
Based on the submission of the State Security Committee, access to the information resource is restricted. Resource identifier: https://vk.com.
The duration of the restriction and the reason are currently unknown.
The press service of the social network stated that the management is studying the situation and is doing everything possible to resume the service in the republic.
