The construction of the largest solar power plant in the region with a capacity of 60 megawatts is entering its final stage in the Nogai district of Dagestan. The project is being implemented by the "Hevel" company with the support of the government of the republic. Total investments in construction will amount to 5.4 billion rubles.
The installation of a 110 kilovolt substation is being completed at the site, supporting structures and photovoltaic modules are being installed. Contracting organizations, including local companies, are involved in the construction, which contributes to the development of the district's infrastructure.
After the facility is put into operation, 21 permanent jobs will be created and about 100 during the construction phase. According to experts, annual tax revenues from the station's operations will reach 40 million rubles. This will strengthen the budget of the municipality and stimulate the development of the social sphere.
For "Hevel", this project will be the second in the republic: previously, the company built the Yuzhno-Sukokumskaya SES with a capacity of 15 megawatts. The new facility will significantly increase the share of renewable energy in the region's energy balance and increase its energy sustainability.
