The first solar power plant with a tracker system for tracking the movement of the Sun has been launched in Chechnya. The project was implemented by the "Hevel" group of companies.
Solar modules change their position following the Sun. The station's capacity is 9.2 MW. It generates 20-25% more electricity due to the operation of modules that change position following the Sun. The expected production volume is 13 million kWh per year.
It is worth noting that the solar modules are made in Russia. The station is located near the village of Samashki on an area of about 18 hectares.
Earlier www1.ru reported that a technology for modeling solar power plants with hydrogen storage was created in Tomsk.
