The China Helicopter Exposition 2025 in Tianjin hosted a conference with the participation of Russian helicopter operators from the Asian region. Representatives of Chinese companies shared their experience with the equipment of the Russian Helicopters holding of Rostec and discussed the prospects for further cooperation.
Mi-8/17, Ka-32A11VS and Mi-26TS helicopters are successfully operated in China. The vehicles are used for firefighting, search and rescue operations and disaster relief.
The General Director of Russian Helicopters Holding, Nikolai Kolesov, noted that the fleet of Russian civil helicopters in China includes 33 Mi-171s, four Mi-26TSs and 40 Ka-32A11VSs. Customers highly appreciate their efficiency, especially heavy vehicles, which are in demand in Asian regions.
The exhibition discussed the supply of new equipment to Chinese partners: Ka-32A11VS and Ka-32A11M for firefighting, Mi-26TS for disaster relief and Ansat for medical missions and flight training. The holding presented models of Ansat, Ka-32A11VS and Mi-8/17 at the exposition.
