A convenient service has appeared on the "Gosuslugi" portal that allows you to apply for a tax deduction without having to collect many documents and visit government agencies. Now users can consistently go through all the stages of registration without leaving the platform.
With the new service, citizens will be able to find out about the types of tax deductions available to them. For example, if there were expenses for treatment, education or sports during the year, they can apply for a social tax deduction.
The service has become part of the federal project "State for People", which is curated by Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Government Apparatus Dmitry Grigorenko. He noted that the new tool is based on the principles of a comprehensive solution to citizens' issues, allowing them to quickly receive services without unnecessary visits to departments and collecting documents. Personal data of users is automatically extracted from state systems.
