The Russian representative office of Geely has been informed about engine problems faced by car owners, but the cases of malfunctions are isolated. This was stated by the company's representative office.
Currently, Geely Motors is conducting a series of service campaigns aimed at updating the engine control unit software.
Representatives of the company added that the measures are aimed at optimizing the consumer characteristics of cars and increasing the adaptability of engines to various operating conditions and the quality of fuel used in Russia. The service campaigns concern, in particular, the Geely Monjaro model and are carried out through the official Geely dealer network.
Earlier, information appeared on the Web that owners of the Geely brand began to report various problems related to the operation of engines. Malfunctions can range from unstable engine operation to interruptions in its start-up. It was suggested that the cause of the incident could be bad gasoline.
