The company "AtomIntelMash" (part of Rosatom's Electric Power Division) has received a patent for its own automated conveyor design for drying shell molding forms (thin and durable forms for casting, made from a mixture of sand and synthetic resin). This was reported by the state corporation's press service.
Robotic conveyors will be in demand in the aircraft industry, power engineering, and automotive manufacturing. There are no analogues to the new equipment in Russia.
This is not just import substitution, but an offer of a more technological and efficient solution that allows our clients to reach a new level of quality and competitiveness, including in the global market.
The conveyor can be used to cast:
- forms for turbine blades of liquid rocket engines
- valve and pump housings
- components for satellites and spacecraft
The main advantage of the "AtomIntelMash" development is the modular design. The conveyor can be adapted to different form sizes and technological processes of foundry production.
