The Ministry of Transport of Russia and JSC "GLONASS" presented a new autonomous tractor. This was reported in the press service of the department.
This machine is capable of moving along a given trajectory with centimeter accuracy. The speed can also be set. This simplifies the work process.
The system helps to unload the driver: instead of "monitoring" the road, he sets the necessary movement parameters on the tablet and concentrates only on the operation of agricultural machinery. When harvesting, this depends on the exclusion of losses commensurate with 30–40% of the cost of grain!
The development has already been successfully tested and in the future it is planned to replace foreign analogues, producing up to 10–15 thousand new machines annually.
