The Ufa Tram and Trolleybus Plant (UTTZ) has assembled 10 new Gorozhanin trolleybuses based on the MAZ-203 body with an increased autonomous range. They will soon appear on the most popular routes in Ufa. This was reported by the press service of the Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ).
In June 2025, UTTZ won a tender for the supply of trolleybuses. MAZ promptly shipped the vehicle kits to the partner plant.
UTTZ started assembly and completed the order in the shortest possible time. This result is a clear example of effective production cooperation and a high level of process organization.
UTTZ will continue cooperation with MAZ
The head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, was present at the transfer of the new transport to the municipality. He was also shown a prototype of the Gorozhanin articulated trolleybus based on the MAZ-216 body.
Khabirov called this model promising, noting its capacity. According to the official, this trolleybus is ideal for megacities with intense passenger traffic. The head of the republic stated that Ufa will deepen cooperation with the Belarusian enterprise in the production of urban transport.
Characteristics of the Gorozhanin trolleybus based on MAZ-203:

- Autonomous running system - up to 60 km
