The crew of the Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) managed to destroy a loitering munition Switchblade 600 at an altitude of 200 m. The Kalashnikov concern spoke about the nuances of the combat vehicle's operation in complete off-road conditions.
The company recalled that the Tor-M2 has already successfully eliminated Bayraktar TB2 drones, Himars missiles, aircraft bombs with JDAM guidance kits, and Storm Shadow missiles.
The combat vehicle is built on the GM-5955.15-01 tracked chassis manufactured by the Mytishchi Machine-Building Plant (MMZ, part of the Kalashnikov Concern).
Thanks to it, the Tor develops a speed of movement on the highway up to 80 km/h, on the ground - 30 km/h and is excellent for placement, transportation, power supply of equipment and equipment of the combat vehicle.
