Droneport "Sekira" for air launch of "Prizrak" fixed-wing UAV developed in Russia

The air launch method saves up to 20% of drone battery power

Kingpro, a member of the Center for Unmanned Systems and Technologies (CUST), has unveiled a new development: an air launch system for fixed-wing drones.

According to a company representative, the new Sekira Prizrak complex is a combination of the Sekira multirotor aircraft and the Prizrak fixed-wing drone. "Sekira" delivers "Prizrak" to a specified altitude, after which it is launched.

This launch method has a number of advantages: it saves up to 20% of battery power, which is usually consumed when starting from the ground, and makes the launch process itself safer.

The flying droneport can act as a repeater after the launch of "Prizrak".

According to the developers, the range of the Prizrak drone launched from the platform is up to 120 km, and the mass of its payload in the form of a warhead is up to 3 kg.

Earlier www1.ru reported that new mobile anti-drone Chinese radar systems have appeared in the Russian army.
