“Space” train launched in Moscow

The train will run on the Big Circle Line for six months

The Roscosmos-themed train has been launched at the Aminyevskoye electric depot. It will run on the Big Circle Line (BCL).

This year, the Moscow Metro is celebrating its 90th anniversary. We are pleased to implement joint projects with Roscosmos.

For six months, passengers in the new train cars will be able to learn about the rich history of space exploration, the main achievements of Russian cosmonautics, modern projects, and professions of the future.

Moscow Transport and Roscosmos have already implemented several joint initiatives, including the launch of a rocket with the metro logo from the Baikonur Cosmodrome. In the past, the metro also hosted exhibitions dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Baikonur and Cosmonautics Day, and thematic promotions were held on electric buses on route No. 76.

Earlier,www1.ru reported that the unique hundredth "Ivolga" in a new designstood on the tracks of the MCD-4.
