The Belarusian Belgee X80 PHEV hybrid crossover, capable of traveling almost 1000 kilometers, may go on sale in Russia if there is demand. This was announced by Belgee marketer Alena Petrakova.

Belgee X80 PHEV is a hybrid version of the Chinese Geely Galaxy Starship 7. The latter will be sold on the Russian market under the name Geely EX5 EM-i. This model will be Geely's first hybrid on the Russian market. However, it is not yet clear whether the Belarusian version will be sold simultaneously with the Chinese version.
The target audience may be different. First of all, these are families with children who care not only about the premium features of the car, but also about safety.
The Belgee X80 PHEV crossover is equipped with a 1.5-liter gasoline turbo engine with a capacity of 99 hp and an electric motor with 218 hp. With a power reserve of 75–80 km on electric traction and a full tank of gasoline, it is capable of traveling up to 940 km according to the WLTP standard.
In the Belarusian market, the cost of Belgee X80 PHEV is 89,900 BYN, which is approximately equal to 2.5 million rubles at the current exchange rate. Price changes when the model enters Russia remain in question, as does the start date of sales, which may not begin until next year.
