As part of the "New Russian Technologies" project, Russian engineers tested a unique personal kinetic weapon designed to destroy drones. The "Product 545" model has been successfully tested, the developer company said.
We have tested "Product 545". This is a personal kinetic weapon for the physical destruction of drones of all types within a radius of 100-150 m. The weapon allows you to destroy drones using any standard weapon that the fighter has. The product body is fired and hits the drone. The striking elements have shown high efficiency in destroying drones - this is our know-how, protected by patents.
The company said that the development of the product is at the stage of scientific research. "This weapon is inexpensive and can protect soldiers from unmanned aerial vehicles. When it is used, the drone's communication is disrupted, which leads to its fall", the source explained.
Earlier www1.ru reported that a unique micro-UAV "Karakurt-R" from the Kalashnikov concern was shown at the "Innoprom. Belarus" exhibition.
