Rostec will present its drone suppression system called Serp for the first time at the Innoprom exhibition in Belarus, the state corporation's press service reported.
The Serp-VS13D anti-drone system of the Rosel holding company identifies communication and control channels of UAVs and sends a command to activate suppression in 13 frequency ranges. The complex effectively affects quadcopters, FPV drones, and swarm UAV groups.
This innovative anti-drone system has a coverage radius of up to 5 km and is capable of jamming not only individual drones, but also entire drone swarms. Serp detects targets at 360 degrees in the horizontal plane and can jam multiple communication channels in 90-degree sectors with independent operating modes.
The Serp system is designed to protect critical infrastructure.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Rostec presented the Serp-VS13D drone suppression system.
