Rosеlectronics tested the modernized Serp-VS5D anti-drone complex of the subsidiary NII Vector at one of Russia's energy infrastructure facilities.
The anti-drone system worked on tasks involving both single drones and swarms. It is a modernized version of the UAV suppression system Serp-VS5.
The Serp line of anti-UAV devices is in high demand among customers both in Russia and abroad. Therefore, Vector specialists are continuously working to modernize the system, taking into account user experience and the improvement of unmanned aerial vehicles themselves. The modernized Serp-VS5D complex has successfully passed testing at one of the energy infrastructure facilities in our country and has fully confirmed all the declared characteristics.
Russian anti-drone "Serps" "see" targets at 360 degrees in the horizontal plane and can jam multiple communication channels in 90-degree sectors with independent operating modes. This allows, if necessary, to use other drones during the operation of the complex, for example, to monitor power lines or pipelines, and they will not be affected. Russian anti-drone devices operate in the most common frequency ranges, and they hit FPV drones as well.
The Serp family and other anti-drone equipment from Rosеlectronics were presented abroad for the first time this year at the EDEX 2023 International Defense Exhibition in Cairo. It was destined for success. A number of interested parties appeared for the company's products, and one of the complexes, "Zashchita", impressed the Egyptian side so much that almost immediately after the presentation, one of the companies signed a contract with NII Vector.
