The crews of the large missile boat (BRK) "Morshansk" (project 12411), the rescue tug "SB-123" (project 02980) and the rescue tugboat "Alexander Frolov" (project 02980) were involved in exercises with the search and rescue forces of the Baltic Fleet. This was reported by the press service of the Baltic Fleet.
The sailors practiced actions to assist a conditionally damaged vessel that had been damaged during an enemy attack. The crews of the ships extinguished the fire, patched the holes and provided medical assistance to the victims.
The crews of the raid diving boat "Valentin Gordeev" and the floating workshop "PM-82" (project 304) also took part in the rescue of the conditionally damaged vessel.
Training of the search and rescue forces of the Baltic Fleet is carried out regularly. Rescuers hone their skills in helping surface ships, submarines, and aircraft that are in distress at sea.
