The online encyclopedia "Ruviki" and the Russian video hosting service Rutube have announced a collaboration within the framework of the Russian Internet Forum (RIF-2025). Now, "Ruviki" articles will be accompanied by thematic video selections, and the encyclopedia's neuro-assistant will be able to integrate video content directly into user responses.
According to the agreement, "Ruviki" users will be able to navigate from text to video selections on the topic without leaving the platform. In turn, Rutube will receive brief descriptions of video clips based on encyclopedia articles, and a chat with the "Ruviki" neuro-assistant will appear on the video pages, which will be able to answer questions or verify information.
Integration with Rutube expands user capabilities by combining encyclopedic accuracy with visual perception of information.
The online encyclopedia "Ruviki" has been working with a test version since the summer of 2023 and officially came out of beta in January 2024. The project aims to make knowledge more accessible and visual for the Russian audience, combining text, video, and interactive elements.
