The CEO of the ANO 'Internet-Encyclopedia Ruviki', Vladimir Medeyko, announced the imminent launch of the 'Free Encyclopedia Ruviki'.
"We plan to launch the 'Free Encyclopedia' project on Russian servers in June. Initially, it will be formed based on articles from the Russian Wikipedia - we take almost 2 million articles, copy them to our servers, and now we are improving them according to our requirements. The principles of our project are primarily related to reliability - we want our articles to be reliable so that students can refer to them in their work, and this does not cause questions from teachers", he said.
Verification of data in the Russian equivalent of 'Wikipedia' will be done in various ways. "We have an editorial office where people sit and monitor information around the clock. Depending on the complexity of the topic, they deal with it independently, or a more complex procedure takes place. Experts, scientific communities, and institutes will participate in this, we will hold public discussions. We are generally open to collaboration with all participants in the knowledge field", he added.
