The "Russian Helicopters" holding has successfully fulfilled its obligations under the contract with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska, having delivered a batch of Ansat helicopters. The rotorcraft will be used for rescue operations and evacuation of people in need of medical assistance.

The contract with the Russian company "Russian Helicopters" for the purchase of Russian Ansat helicopters for the needs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska has been fully executed. The helicopters are actively used for rescue purposes and medical evacuation, including for the needs of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

As a reminder, in 2020, one Ansat helicopter in medical configuration was transferred to the Republika Srpska, and in 2021, one helicopter was transferred for the needs of the police. A total of three helicopters were ordered.

Ansat is a Russian light multi-purpose helicopter of the 7–9 seat class, capable of carrying 1235 kilograms of payload in the cabin. The helicopter was developed by the Kazan Helicopter Plant Design Bureau (KVZ).

  • passenger capacity — up to 7 passengers;
  • payload capacity — 1235 kg;
  • length — 13.543 m;
  • fuselage length without tail boom — 6.91 m;
  • height — 3.56 m;
  • chassis track — 2.5 m;
  • empty weight — 2365 kg;
  • normal take-off weight — 3300 kg, maximum — 3600 kg;
  • fuel weight in internal tanks — 530 kg.

Earlier www1.ru reported that Rosaviatsiya confirmed the high standards of production of parts and components for the PD-14.
