Mass production of the domestic electric car “Atom” is expected in 2026. This was announced by the Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Anton Alikhanov.
I recently tested the “Atom”. We hope that colleagues, as promised, will begin industrial production at the end of this year, and next year it will become mass-produced and enter the market.
According to him, “Atom” is a modern urban electric car, but during the testing process, details were revealed that require refinement.
I have questions about some buttons and controls
The development of the electric car has been underway since 2021. The first functional prototype was presented in May 2023 in Moscow. Mass production is scheduled to begin in the second half of 2025. According to the developer company, “Atom” is designed for use in a metropolis: compact dimensions, modern design and support for digital services make it focused on urban mobility.
