Partnership aims to develop technological base

Kama, the developer of the first Russian electric vehicle "Atom", signed a letter of intent with Chinese CTTIC Stones at the international forum "Rostok" in Kazan. The document provides for cooperation with technology partners and suppliers from China.

Kama CEO Igor Povarazdnyuk clarified that in the long term, the company may consider exporting to China, but the focus is now on working with technology partners.

The "Atom" electric vehicle has been under development since 2021, the first prototype was presented in 2023, and mass production and sales are scheduled to begin in 2025.

Cooperation with Chinese companies can accelerate the launch of "Atom" on the market, provide access to modern technologies and reduce costs in preparation for mass production.
