Russian troops have received the "Babay" drone with an AI system that recognizes elements of armored vehicles and camouflage of any type and is capable of hitting any target, according to an official representative of the Moscow-based development company.
According to him, the system recognizes any equipment, whether it is heavily armored vehicles or a passenger car. Camouflage such as "mangal" or camouflage nets also do not help to hide from the drone's camera.
In addition to the silhouette and image, the AI identifies characteristic features of the equipment for better guidance: wheels, tracks, gun barrel, tank turrets. "Babay" will almost certainly hit any target within range, which can greatly increase the effectiveness of combat units.
The drone is equipped with jam-resistant "Proxy" communication — the organization's own development. The communication easily overcomes areas where electronic warfare (EW) equipment is operating and is practically unjammable.
The flight range of "Babay" depends on the payload of the warhead. With a 3 kg projectile, the drone can easily cover a distance of 13-15 km. With a load of 2 kg — up to 20 km, with a load of 1-1.3 kg — up to 30 km. The flight speed is up to 120 km/h.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the frigate "Admiral Golovko" launched a hypersonic "Zircon" in the Barents Sea guided by a Tu-142.
