Industrial Robotics Development Center Launched at Bauman Moscow State Technical University

The site was created for training specialists, conducting scientific research, developing and implementing robotic systems in production facilities

The Industrial Robotics Development Center has started operating at Bauman Moscow State Technical University (Bauman MSTU). The site was created for training specialists, conducting scientific research, developing and implementing robotic systems in production facilities. The center is already working on tasks of automating processes, increasing labor efficiency and improving safety conditions at enterprises.

One of the key areas of the center is the development of domestic robotic systems and software to reduce dependence on imported counterparts. University students and graduate students are invited to participate: they will be able to work on robot control algorithms, electronics, mechanical components and software. This approach will allow young specialists to gain practical experience necessary in high-tech industries.

The project was implemented thanks to the university's victory in the grant competition of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. The competition, organized by Innopolis University, attracted 28 universities and companies from 18 cities in Russia. Among the winners are other institutions, but Bauman MSTU received support for creating a unique platform for research and training in this area.

The new division will become an important element of our strategy for training highly qualified personnel and developing domestic technologies. Here, the foundation of technical independence is being laid - not just training, but creating solutions that can already be in demand in Russian industries today.
Oleg Bolgarchuk, Director of the Center

Currently, the center is forming a team and continues to recruit participants from among students for research and development.
