FLEK Reagent Manufacturer Completes Major Equipment Upgrade Program with Reactor Launch in Perm

Modern equipment will increase production and improve production safety

Nefteserviceholding Group (FLEK), one of the leading Russian manufacturers of reagents for the petrochemical industry, has completed a large-scale modernization program of its production complex. A key stage of the project was the launch of a new mixing-type reactor made of stainless, chemically resistant steel. At the same time, a new automatic fire extinguishing system was introduced, which increases the safety and quality of production.

The new equipment replaced outdated reactors made of "black" metal, reducing the risk of mechanical impurities entering the products. A modern reactor, a separate line for supplying raw materials and outputting finished products, as well as reducing downtime for maintenance, will increase the average daily output by more than 10%. The reactor was commissioned together with start-up and commissioning works.

FLEK is now capable of producing up to 25 thousand tons of reagents per year. Unique research equipment allows the company to conduct a full range of tests: from assessing the effectiveness of demulsifiers using the "bottle test" method to testing corrosion inhibitors using a U-shaped tube.

The company's portfolio includes more than 80 types of products, including demulsifiers for water-oil emulsions, paraffin inhibitors, hydrocarbon solvents and hydrogen sulfide neutralizers.

Since April 2025, FLEK has been implementing the third stage of developing biodegradable reagents, exploring the possibility of their industrial production based on samples that have shown the greatest effectiveness in the laboratory.

Modernization allows the company to increase production capacity, expand the range and improve the quality of products, taking into account the characteristics of specific fields. This strengthens FLEK's position in the Russian petrochemical market and contributes to the development of the domestic reagent industry.
