Components from 45 countries were found in the armament of Russian Geranium-3 kamikaze drones, Russian media reported, citing sources.
Chinese Telefly JT80 turbojet engines are used in the creation of the drone, thanks to which the UAV is able to fly at a speed of 300 to 370 km/h. At the same time, the estimated operational range is up to 1000 km.
In total, 45 foreign components were identified in these turbojet-powered drones, including from the USA, China, Germany and Japan.
The "Geranium-3" accelerates mainly in the areas of air defense and electronic warfare systems, in the areas of UAV interceptors and when descending to the target in the terminal phases of the flight.
To ensure the protection of satellite navigation in the "Geranium-3", a satellite jam-resistant navigation system with an adaptive antenna array (CRPA) with 12 elements - "Comet-M12" is used.
In the previous version of the strike drone, the "Geranium-2", foreign components were alsofound, mainly fromChina, the USA and Switzerland.
