Tu-160 strategic missile carriers performed combat training missions over the neutral waters of the Barents Sea during the Zapad-2025 exercises, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.

Fighter escort was provided by crews of MiG-31 aircraft of the Aerospace Forces - the fastest military interceptors in the world.
The flight lasted about four hours. The military department emphasized that the exercises were conducted in strict accordance with international rules for the use of airspace.
