The Kh-39 light multi-purpose guided missile (LMUR) demonstrates high efficiency due to the ability to adjust the trajectory online. This was reported in the press service of the state corporation.
The Kh-39 missile control system allows the helicopter weapon operator to direct it to the vulnerable points of enemy objects, choosing the desired angle and point of impact. At the same time, a high-quality image in both the visible and infrared ranges is received on board the helicopter from the missile's homing head. In this case, the helicopter pilots directed the ammunition exactly into the joint between the floor and the facade of the building. The Kh-39 demonstrates the advantage of fine-tuning the missile's flight path to the target in real time.
Rostec drew attention to the publication of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, which captured the moment of destruction of the UAV control point of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the help of the Kh-39 missile. This function allows you to increase the effectiveness of hitting any targets, including moving objects.
The missile has a powerful warhead capable of destroying individual units of armored vehicles and protected objects.
Kh-39s are used by Mi-28N and Ka-52 attack helicopters. The missile has a high degree of protection against enemy electronic warfare equipment.
The Kh-39 light multi-purpose guided missile (formerly known as "Product 305") was adopted by the Aerospace Forces (VKS) of Russia in 2022.
Technical characteristics of the Kh-39 LMUR:
- Range - 14.5 km.
- Missile flight speed - up to 230 m/s.
- Missile length - 1.945 m.
- Starting weight - 105 kg.
- Warhead - high-explosive fragmentation, weighing 25 kg.
- Body diameter - 200 mm.
Earlierwww1.ru reported that the Kh-39 missile for the Mi-28NM "Night Superhunter" and the Ka-52 "Alligator"became even more powerful.
