Tsars of heavenly battles: A batch of new Su-34 "combat ducklings" built in Russia

Fighter production increased many times over in September

The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec) has manufactured and handed over another batch of Su-34s to the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) as part of the state defense order.

UAC noted that the Su-34 has proven itself as a reliable and effective machine that has repeatedly confirmed its inherent characteristics in real combat conditions.

UAC General Director Vadim Badeha noted that the corporation maintains a high rate of production of military equipment, fulfilling its obligations to the Russian Aerospace Forces on time.

The current month is a record in terms of the number of aircraft supplied. Our employees at the factories, understanding the importance of supplying aviation equipment to the troops, not only ensure the necessary volume of production, but also constantly improve production processes to ensure larger volumes of aircraft manufacturing.
Vadim Badeha, General Director of UAC

The fighter-bombers have undergone a set of necessary ground and flight factory tests and have been handed over to the customer. Due to the characteristic wide nose of the cockpit, the Su-34 is called "duckling" in the troops.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that the main base for Tu-160M, Tu-95MS and Tu-22M3 missile carriers has become known.
