Kazan Helicopter Plant (KHP) (part of Rostec) has become the only enterprise in the industry with a full cycle of rotorcraft creation, according to Farid Mukhametshin, Chairman of the State Council of Tatarstan.
In total, the plant has built about 12,000 helicopters, and more than 4,000 machines have been exported to almost 100 countries. Helicopters manufactured in Kazan have flown a total of over 50 million flight hours worldwide.
Today, more than 5,000 people work at the enterprise, and all, as one family, solve big and complex tasks.
Mukhametshin added that the industry of Tatarstan makes a great contribution to the economy of the whole country. The products of enterprises are in demand both in the republic and abroad.
