Kazan Helicopter Plant becomes the only enterprise in the industry worldwide with a full production cycle

Kazan Helicopter Plant helicopters have flown a total of over 50 million hours worldwide

Kazan Helicopter Plant (KHP) (part of Rostec) has become the only enterprise in the industry with a full cycle of rotorcraft creation, according to Farid Mukhametshin, Chairman of the State Council of Tatarstan.

In total, the plant has built about 12,000 helicopters, with over 4,000 machines exported to almost 100 countries. Helicopters manufactured in Kazan have flown a total of over 50 million flight hours worldwide.

Today, the enterprise employs more than 5,000 people, and all, as one family, solve large and complex tasks.

Mukhametshin added that the industry of Tatarstan makes a large contribution to the economy of the entire country. The products of enterprises are in demand both in the republic and abroad.
