The "High-Precision Systems" holding (part of Rostec) has supplied the Russian Ministry of Defense with a batch of BMD-2 combat vehicles after major repairs with elements of modernization and a new batch of BMP-3s with complete sets of multi-component additional protection.
The new batch of infantry fighting vehicles are equipped with armored screens, anti-cumulative grills and upper hemisphere protection kits as standard.
Bekhan Ozdoev, Industrial Director of the Rostec State Corporation's Armaments Cluster, stated that the production of armored vehicles at the enterprises is ongoing around the clock. Specialists continue to modernize combat vehicles taking into account real combat experience.
Crews of Russian servicemen appreciate BMPs and BMDs for their mobility, high firepower and ease of operation even in the most difficult conditions.
Each BMP received electronic warfare equipment and a "Cape" to reduce visibility.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the "breakthrough" T-90M tank received improved dynamic protection units.
