Residents of the capital will be able to observe the International Space Station (ISS) without the use of special equipment until the end of September, the press service of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) reported.
The season of evening visibility over Moscow will last until September 28. Already today, September 11, in Moscow, the station will appear from the horizon at 20:16, and on September 12 – at 21:03.
As noted in MIPT, the space station is visible as a very bright star, since its solar panels reflect light well. The ISS moves in orbit at an altitude of approximately 400 kilometers at a speed of about 28 thousand kilometers per hour.
