Krasnodar Airport, which has been closed since February 2022 due to security concerns, will reopen its doors to passengers. This was reported by the Ministry of Transport. The first flight to the air harbor will be operated by Aeroflot on September 17.
The intensity of flights will be limited to five take-off and landing operations per hour. Flights will be operated daily from 09:00 to 19:00 Moscow time.
As part of the preparation for the opening, significant work was carried out to repair the terminals, update navigation and improve infrastructure, including the forecourt and parking areas.
Thus, the opening of Krasnodar Airport not only returns the region to air communication, but also creates a basis for the future development of transport infrastructure, which will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the economy and tourism of the Krasnodar Territory.
