The "Progress MS-30" spacecraft has successfully completed its mission, according to the press service of Roscosmos State Corporation.
On September 9, the cargo ship was deorbited, entered the dense layers of the atmosphere, and disintegrated. According to the Mission Control Center of TsNIIMash, the unburned elements of the ship's structure fell in a non-navigable area of the southern Pacific Ocean.
"Progress MS" is a Russian automatic spacecraft designed to service orbital stations. It is used to deliver various cargoes to the International Space Station (ISS), including fuel, scientific equipment, oxygen, water, and food, as well as to adjust the station's orbit.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that "Progress MS-30" was sent for general assembly with a launch vehicle.
