Agrodrones to Treat 90,000 Hectares of Farmland in Bashkiria in 2025

The use of UAVs will almost double the figures achieved in 2023–2024

In Bashkiria, agrodrones will treat a record 90,000 hectares of farmland in 2025, almost doubling the figure for 2023–2024. The republic currently has 13 multirotor drones that are used for chemical treatment of crops and field monitoring.

Modern models Vector AGR HD 580 and DJI Agras T50 were demonstrated at a seminar in the Sterlitamak region. It was noted that the best machines are capable of processing up to 200 hectares per shift, and new models will have twice the productivity. Agrodrones are more economical and less dependent on weather conditions compared to traditional equipment, while allowing real-time monitoring of crop conditions and detection of plant diseases.

The widespread use of UAVs in the agricultural sector increases the efficiency of agricultural work, reduces costs and risks associated with weather fluctuations, and accelerates the introduction of digital technologies in agriculture.
