Rosaviatsiya has issued a type certificate for the S-80 agricultural drone to the developing company, "Transport of the Future." This is stated on the agency's website.
The S-80 agricultural drone became the first unmanned aerial vehicle to receive a type certificate as part of the president's instructions. If we take the active phase of certification, it took about six months - this is close to the timeframe that is assumed by the national project "Unmanned Aviation Systems".
It is worth noting that the company plans to produce about 200 S-80 drones by the end of 2024. Already next year, this figure is planned to be increased to 500 agricultural drones.
In addition, work is underway to certify the S-80 drone for delivery. Its carrying capacity is up to 20 kg, and the flight range is up to 15 km.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that a Chinese company will start assembling agricultural drones in Krasnodar.
