Maxim Labeev, a graduate of the Institute of Chemical Technology and Engineering of the Ufa State Petroleum Technical University, has developed a drone with a module for spraying fertilizers and a neural network for processing fields. This was reported by the press service of the university.
Labeev developed a prototype of a hexacopter-type drone with a spraying module, software for monitoring and automatic control of UAVs, as well as a neural network for identifying infected areas.
The created technical and information system allows automating the processing of agricultural land. This helps to reduce the consumption of chemicals and minimize the impact on the environment. The spraying drone can also be used in scientific research to test new methods of applying substances in hard-to-reach areas.
The main advantages of the new agricultural drone are ease of manufacture and affordable cost. Its own spraying system allows you to adapt the drone to highly specialized tasks and customize it to specific needs, which is often impossible or difficult to do with commercial models.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the heavy agricultural drone S-80 from "Transport of the Future" was shown at the NAIS forum in Moscow.
