The capital will host the 20th historical transport parade on the eve of the City Day. It will end with an exhibition of trams and vintage cars on Chistoprudny Boulevard. The event will take place on Saturday, September 6.
Tram parades have become a good tradition. They are held in Moscow three times a year and are always very popular with citizens and tourists. We continue to develop the capital's tram and introduce its rich history on behalf of Sergei Sobyanin.
At 11:30 a column of retro transport starts at the Novokuznetskaya metro station, opening the festive program. It will be attended by 15 retro trams. An exhibition of historical trams and cars will be organized on Chistoprudny Boulevard from 12:00 to 18:00.
A rich program with free treats and various entertainment for children has been prepared for the guests. Special photo zones will also be organized.
Artists of the "Music in the Metro" project, the Academic Choir of the Moscow Metro and invited musician Denis Maidanov will perform at this place. Reconstructors who will recreate the realities of past years will help create a historical atmosphere.
Due to the retro transport parade on September 6, traffic in the center of the capital will be temporarily limited.
